ranges (including ½ and ¼ sizes):

Gold Increments and Pricing

The 14Kt gold prices printed in our marketing collateral are based
on a market price of gold between $0 and $400. As you may know,
the market price of gold fluctuates regularly and as is common
practice, the price of Bob Siemon Designs 14Kt gold jewelry is based
on gold’s market price. When the market price of gold is between $0
and $400, the suggested retail price of our 14Kt gold designs are as
identified in this catalog. However, there are times when the market
price of gold may exceed $400. In these cases, an additional charge,
or increment, is added to the suggested retail price. The chart below
will help you estimate the price of a design for your customer.
To ensure the most accurate quote, please contact our Customer
Service Department at 800.854.8358.

To use the chart, determine the column which indicates the market
price of gold., Next determine which row indicates the suggested
retail price of the design as listed in this catalog. Find the point
at which the correct row and column intersect. This will tell you an
estimate of the incremental charge which will be added to the
suggested retail price of the design.

White Gold

All 14Kt gold designs, except chains, are available in yellow or white
gold for the same price. Please specify white gold when placing your
special order.

Diamonds & Gemstones

Our diamonds are graded in accordance with the Gemological
Institute of America's standards for diamond grading. We offer two
qualities of diamonds - "gem" quality and "standard" quality. Gem
quality diamonds are high quality diamonds with VS1-SI1 clarity and
are in the G-I color range. Standard quality diamonds are in the
SI2-I2 clarity range and are G-I in color. Many of our designs will
accommodate more than one size or shape of stone. There is no
setting charge when diamonds or gems are purchased from Bob
Siemon Designs. All of our diamond settings are made with white
gold. We recommend having settings checked at least once a year by
a professional jeweler. Bob Siemon Designs is not responsible for lost
diamonds due to settings that are not properly maintained.

In addition to our fine selection of diamonds, we offer cubic zirconia
and pearls. Synthetic birthstones are also available in the same sizes
and prices as our cubic zirconia (see chart below). Genuine gemstone
pricing is available upon request.

14Kt Gold Jewelry

All of our 14Kt gold designs are made of the finest solid 14Kt gold.
14Kt gold consists of 58% pure gold and 42% other alloys, meeting
the highest standards in quality. Each design is crafted using the
timeless process of "lost wax" casting. This process begins with a
hand-carved wax design that is then invested, or enclosed, in a
plaster mold. Once the plaster is dry, the wax is melted out and
the mold is then filled with molten 14Kt gold. Finally, each design is
meticulously hand polished and placed in a velvet jewelry box.
All of our 14Kt gold designs, except our chains, are available in
yellow or white gold at no additional charge.

14Kt Gold Jewelry Care

Gold jewelry can be easily cared for using a soft toothbrush, mild
liquid dish soap and water. Or, the jewelry can be professionally
cleaned. Harsh commercial cleaners can damage fine jewelry and
should not be used.

14Kt Gold-Filled Jewelry

Our 14Kt gold-filled jewelry is created by fusing a top and bottom
layer of 14Kt gold to an inner foundation of brass. One-twentieth
(1/20th) of the total weight of the design is 14Kt gold. The intricate
designs are then stamped, in a process called "die striking," onto
each design with an incredible level of detail, making each design a
true work of art. These designs are hand polished to a brilliant shine,
goldplated and then placed in velvet jewelry boxes. The beauty and
strength of these designs offers you an attractive, affordable
alternative to solid 14Kt gold. To prolong the life of gold-filled
jewelry, we recommend that it be removed when sleeping,
showering, and swimming.

Sterling Silver Jewelry

All of our silver designs are made with solid sterling silver of the
finest quality. The base metal content of sterling silver is 92.5%
pure silver and 7.5% other alloys. Each design is crafted using the
timeless process of "lost wax" casting, which begins with a hand-
carved wax design. The design is then invested, or enclosed, in a
plaster mold. Once the plaster is dry, the wax is melted and the
mold is then filled with molten sterling silver. Finally, each design
is meticulously hand polished to a brilliant shine.

Sterling silver pendants come with rhodium-plated sterling silver
chains with soldered links for added strength. Many of our designs
are "antiqued" through a special oxidizing process, which adds
contrast and helps to emphasize the design. Each pendant and
ring is stamped with the Bob Siemon Designs logo, a guarantee
that you have chosen the finest jewelry available.

Sterling Silver Jewelry Care

Occasionally, you will wear a sterling silver ring for a few days and
a black film, called tarnish, will appear. Tarnish is the result of the
skin's reaction to sterling silver and is produced by sulfuric oxide in
the atmosphere and/or by certain foods or body salts. Generally, if
you continue to wear the ring, the tarnish will disappear in a few
weeks. Otherwise, it can be removed with the polishing cloth that is
included with each sterling silver design. On rare occasions, the body
may react to the copper alloy in sterling silver and turn the finger a
slightly green color. If this happens, you can simply clean the silver
with the polishing cloth and remove the ring at night to allow the skin
to breathe. Genuine sterling silver will tarnish over time and needs to
be cleaned with a polishing cloth, or professionally, to keep it looking
shiny. Sterling silver designs can be easily cared for using a soft
toothbrush, mild liquid dish soap and water. Harsh commercial
cleaners can damage fine jewelry and should not be used. Sterling
silver designs should be cleaned with the red portion of a polishing
cloth then shined with the yellow side.

Quality Costume Jewelry

Our quality costume pendants are cast in the finest lead-free pewter,
hand polished, then "triple-dipped" in either 22Kt gold or rhodium
plating. This 22Kt gold plating thickness is three times the industry
standard. Our pendants and chains are plated using the same process
to ensure the consistency and quality of each design. Our chains are
solid brass and every link is soldered for added strength. All quality
costume designs are presented in velvet jewelry boxes.
We are proud of our work and offer an unconditional, lifetime
guarantee on all quality costume jewelry.

To prolong the life of quality costume jewelry, we recommend that it
be removed when sleeping, showering, and swimming.

Affordable Costume Jewelry

Our affordable costume jewelry is cast in the finest pewter, machine
polished, and "single-dip" plated with 22Kt gold or rhodium. Each
piece is individually and colorfully packaged.

Fashion Jewelry

Our fashion jewelry incorporates many of the qualities found in our
various jewelry lines. We use an assortment of materials to create
this line and our packaging is specially designed for each collection
of jewelry. We create our fashion jewelry designs based on current
jewelry trends and add our own unique inspirational message to each
